The world’s largest cruise company, Carnival, has announced that 100% of its ships are now equipped with Elon Musk’s Starlink internet. Indeed, the cruise line recently unveiled the integration of the SpaceX offering across its entire global fleet.

Carnival Cruise Line boasts more than 90 ships that sail to more than 40 countries across the globe. Moreover, the company notes that those vessels will now feature the “game-changing, high-speed connectivity” of the SpaceX Starlink. Additionally, the move was a key part of the company’s strategy to “quadruple its fleetwide bandwidth overall.”

World’s Largest Cruise Line Integrates SpaceX Starlink Internet

This time, Musk is having an impact on the vacation sector. Specifically, Carnival Cruise Lines has announced that 100% of its ships are now equipped with Elon Musk’s Starlink internet. Indeed, the internet is powered by the Starlink satellite, operated by his rocket and spacecraft manufacturing company, SpaceX.

The move was made by Carnival to help its global fleet rival “the best Wi-Fi experience available on land. Moreover, the move will increase wi-fi reliability for all guests and crew. Ultimately, it will aid the connectivity of the cruise line guests, no matter where they are in the world.

Additionally, the bandwidth upgrade will increase “each ship’s operational and communications capabilities,” aiding every boat individually. Conversely, Josh Weinstein, Carnival CEO, notes the rollout has already evoked “a surge in guest satisfaction and positive feedback.”
